3rd Grade Carnival
The 3rd grade carnival is approaching quickly! We hope your child has come home excited about this fun experience. The carnival will be held on Friday, February 23rd during the end of the day within our classrooms.
During social studies, students have been busy planning their booths with their partner(s). During this time, the groups have…
- Generated an idea for a booth
- Come up with rules
- Compiled a supply list
- Assigned jobs
This week students will also discuss a ticket price and create an advertisement poster for their booth.
Now, this is where we need your help. Please talk to your child about the idea that they are working on and what supplies they need to make it happen. Here in the classroom we have tried our hardest to steer them in a realistic direction. We have talked several groups out of stuffed animals and king sized candy bar prizes and encouraged them to scale it back to stickers, pencils, erasers, dum-dums (dollar store type things). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your homeroom teacher. We need all games, supplies and prizes at school on Friday morning, February 23rd. Please keep in mind that if your child is planning on having any food items, please make sure they are peanut free.
