Six Flags Great America Read to Succeed Reading Program

This week your child should have brought home a reading log from the Six Flags Read to Succeed Reading Program. This program is open to children in grades K-6. Our second graders enjoyed visiting the Christmas Shoppe this week! They continue to work hard during this fun and busy time of year! Religion In religion, the second graders continued to learn about the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We discussed that in Reconciliation we meet Jesus and He forgives us if we are truly sorry. We also learned many important vocabulary words such as, penance, pardon, sin, and confession.
