In anticipation of the upcoming visit by author Kirby Larson, we have begun to work on a collaborative Library and Art project! Second, third, and fourth grade students read the book “Two Bobbies” with Mrs. Sawyer over the past couple of weeks. We started our lesson reading the Spanish version of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. During our reading students learned to express the feeling of being hungry. This book also helped us reviewing previous lessons such as numbers, days of the week, and colors.
