Rainbow Countdown June 10th – Rainbow Day, Blue – Today we “Blue” bubbles! On Monday the students made their own bubble blowers out of pipe cleaners and then played with bubbles.  They soon discovered that they could also blow bubbles with their fingers, arms, and hands. Field Trip to Museum On Thursday, May 23rd, we are headed to the Wilmette Historical Museum on Ridge Road.  We will be eating lunch in our classrooms at 11:30 and then walking over. Field trip to Museum Permission slips for our Wilmette Historical Museum Trip were handed out last week.  We will be walking from SFX to the Wilmette Historical Museum on Ridge Road. We will be eating lunch in our classrooms at 11:30 and then heading over.  We are hoping to return to school by 2:45, in time for dismissal. Field Trip What an amazing day we had on Monday for our trip to The Grove and Wagner Farm!  At The Grove, Mr. Bee led us through a typical school day in a one room schoolhouse.  Students were first assigned names and families from the 1860’s. Field Trip We have our Grove and Wagner Farm field trip scheduled for Monday, March 18th.  We will leave SFX around 8:30 and head to The Grove in Glenview and at noon we will head to Wagner Farm.  Students are asked to come dressed in their SFX uniform with appropriate layers for the day. Third Grade News Division Zoo This week during EPIC Math we played Division Zoo with Mrs. Pritchard.  In this game each child was assigned an animal.
