Art Update :: Graphic Novels

In anticipation of the upcoming visit by author Kirby Larson, we have begun to work on a collaborative Library and Art project! Congratulations to our 4th-6th grade Battle of the Books team members. Our three SFX teams competed Monday against six other teams from two other schools-Baker Progressive School and Chiaravalle School.  Two of our SFX teams came in 2nd and 3rd place in the individual team competition and in the overall school competition SFX came in 2nd. April Book Cafe

Last week, we had a great time during Book Cafe where we discussed Masterminds by Gordon Korman. Help Needed! Lenten Service Project

Our school is participating in a toiletry drive to help our sharing parish, St. Thomas. SFX students are being asked to donate supplies to help make “blessing bags” to pass out to members of their community in need. Fourth grade is being asked to donate as many individually packaged toothbrushes as we can. Thank you for your support in this worthy cause!
