Rainbow Countdown
June 10th – Rainbow Day, Blue – Today we “Blue” bubbles!
On Monday the students made their own bubble blowers out of pipe cleaners and then played with bubbles. They soon discovered that they could also blow bubbles with their fingers, arms, and hands. Surprisingly, the bubbles 5 trays of bubble solution entertained them for 40 minutes!
June 11th – Rainbow Day, Indigo – “ I DID GROW” this year!
Today students completed a memory book that they can take with them and remember all the fun things from 3rd grade!
Wedding Surprise
Our room moms had one more surprise up their sleeves! On Tuesday they brought in cake, a small gift, and cards to celebrate Ms. Schnecke’s upcoming wedding later this month. The kids loved giving her well wishes, surprising her, and eating cake!
June 12th – Rainbow Day, Violet – Roses are red, “Violets” are blue, we are going to miss you!
Today we had time to sign memory books that we worked on yesterday and then we ate violet cookies to celebrate our “violet” day!
Break Out
On our final day we did one more team building activity, a breakout box entitled Grocery Store Steals. Students had to solve various math problems to recover the loot from the locked box.
Good-Bye
Thank you to all our parents for making this a memorable year at SFX. We have LOVED working with each family and getting to know you all. This is definitely a special group of kids. We love how they look after one another like family, coming together whenever someone needs a hug or some extra help. We wish you all the best of luck in 4th grade! Please, read over the summer and practice those math facts for speed and accuracy. See you all back in August!
