June 3rd – Rainbow Day, Red – We “Red” so many good books this year!
Today students were able to share a favorite book with a classmate. The students loved time to buddy read some favorites with a friend and exchange books to read during silent reading time.

Today we completed a partner activity where everyone was interviewed for their future 4th grade teachers.

June 6th – Rainbow Day, Yellow – 3rd Grade Class Picnic
We had a blast at the park today, spending time with loved ones and making memories! A HUGE thank you to all the parents that helped make this day possible! We had volunteers that walked both ways with us, showed up to say “hi”, delivered play equipment, drinks and even popsicles. Believe it or not, a few parents were brave enough to play with us and help referee! THANK YOU!
June 7th – Rainbow Day, Green – Spend some time with the “Green-ery” outdoors.
Students enjoyed a little extra sunshine today and had a chance to burn off a little excess energy while searching for math in the great outdoors.
What’s Cookin’ In 3rd Grade
Students had the opportunity to read their writing entitled, What’s Cookin’ In 3rd Grade to an authentic audience this week! The second graders came up and listened to our pieces while learning a little bit about what to expect next year.
3-D Wilmette Timeline
Our kids have been hard at work creating their version of buildings from Wilmette’s past.We think they really enjoyed combining spatial planning, geometry and history for this cross-curricular activity!
Desk and Locker Clean Out
We will be cleaning out our desks and lockers on Monday, June 10th. Please send your child to school with a bag in which they can bring home all the “treasures” they will find during clean out.
