Valentine’s Day – Guidelines from the Archdiocese
Students may write and pass out paper valentines, provided that they meet the following criteria:
- Valentines should be placed in individual bags and labeled with each student’s name.
- Valentines must be sent to school at least 48 hours before they are to be distributed.
- Valentines are due at school by Wednesday morning on February 10 so that they may be distributed on Friday, February 12.
- Valentines may not contain food, candy, or any other edible treats.

Upcoming Tests and Quizzes
Tuesday, February 9
Chapter 3 Math Test – This test will cover making equivalent fractions, reducing fractions, adding and subtracting whole numbers, mixed numbers and fractions, and using fractions to solve word problems. Students have completed the chapter review to help prepare for the test.
Friday, February 12
Spelling Test – This test will cover the words from List 2.
Religion Chapter 15 Quiz – This quiz will be open book. Students should use pages 125 – 129 and class notes to review for the test.
