Math Quiz on Multiplication: Students need to know how to multiple by 1 and 2 digit numbers by using the standard multiplication algorithm (the traditional method) and by using an area model. We will review both methods on Monday. Please help your child prepare by practicing basic multiplication facts at home.
Friday, October 23
Chapter 7 Religion Quiz: Students should use their class notes and pages 53 and 56 to help them prepare for the test. This quiz will be open book.
Grammar Quiz on Comma Usage: Students should use their weekly grammar packet to help them prepare for the test. Students should know how to use commas to set off introductory phrases, interruptions, and appositives.

We have started using RAZ Kids and IXL in our classroom, and students are welcome to use these programs at home for additional practice. Their login information is inside their planner.
