Monday, January 21st-No School-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Tuesday, January 22nd-Start of Quarter 3 which begins any changes to Lunch Bunch or Enrichment schedules. Please contact the office to make changes.
Please continue to send your child with a warm coat, snow pants, boots, a hat and mittens. We go outside every day unless it is raining or feels colder than 15 degrees.

Theme of the week and activities
At our Craft Center we drew our January self-portraits.
At our Literacy Center we learned the sound that the letter “C” makes We made a list of words that begin with “C”.
At our Writing Center we wrote the letter “C” in our workbooks.
At our Math Center we practiced writing numbers 1-10 on our
At our Fine Motor Center we molded putty and played with Play-dough.
At our Sensory Center we played with Arctic animals in the rice bin.
In Religion we have been talking about kindness. We are giving examples of “put ups” vs “put downs” and how these kind words make a difference in how we feel and make others feel. We shared a religion sheet about kindness toward our family and friends.
Spotlight on Social Emotional Learning
We are working on getting back into the routine of being at school!
We were very excited to play in the new gym this week! We also stretched and practiced our breathing with Mrs. DeVore in Yoga class on Wednesday.
