Dear Parents,
Today we will be treated to the Kohl Museum’s STORYBUS! The Kohl Museum Bus will come and park right outside our school building. Each kindergarten class will get to spend time investigating the bus where the story of “The Three Little Pigs” will be told. The bus will be set up beautifully with fun activities to go along with the story. It is always a great time and we are looking forward to experiencing it again this year!
Parent/Teacher conferences will take place next Thursday and Friday, March 5th and 6th. Kindergartners will be dismissed from school at 11:40 on both of these days. We look forward to meeting with you and sharing your child’s progress! Please also keep a look out for your child’s March academic report which will be mailed to you sometime next week. These will also give you a good indication of how very much your child has progressed over the past few months. You can contact your child’s teacher at any time with questions or concerns.
All of our students received ashes at Wednesday’s school mass. In class, we have talked about Lent being a time of growth. Soon, we will do the Stations of the Cross on an age-appropriate level.
In math this week, we continue to work on number 10-20. We continue to work on our “how to” books in writing class. In reading, we’re working on re-reading our books and bringing the pages to life.
