Dear Parents,
We know you are receiving an abundance of resources in addition to what we’re providing. Our objective is not to overwhelm you but to share enriching options to help fill your day. If you are struggling to find time to complete all of the activities listed on Seesaw, please note that reading, writing, math, and prayer time should be done daily. The other activities can be completed as you see fit. You are always welcome to go back to a previous day’s incomplete activities if your child is in need of some extra material.
To help your planning for the day ahead, we will now release all of the next day’s learning activities to Seesaw at 8PM the night before. This way, you can preview the activities for the day (only if it is helpful for you!). If your kiddo is on his/her device past 8PM, please let him/her know not to move on to the “next day’s” activities until the morning!
We are happy to receive as many Seesaw posts from your child as you’d like to send, but we don’t want this part of the learning process to overwhelm you!. If the internet is down, the device is busy, the photo/video feature is not working, etc. don’t sweat it! We want you and your child to be as stress-free as possible and hope that you’re finding enjoyment in working with us through the Seesaw app.
Our hope is that the activities we provide on Seesaw will be completed by your children as independently as possible – as they are in our classroom at this point in the school year.
Thank you,
Mrs. Zeman, Ms. Lavelle, and Mrs. McIntyre
