Dear Parents,
As November comes to an end, we would like to wish each of you a very wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. We are blessed to be working with you and your children and we are truly grateful for the opportunity.
This coming week:
Please join us this coming Tuesday, November 26th, when Mrs. Zeman’s students will lead the school mass.
We look forward to sharing with you during parent/teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday afternoon and evening.
This week, we had a lots of fun finding out what part we will play in our Christmas program. We will be sending lines home with parents at parent/teacher conferences next week so that, hopefully, the children can practice at home in addition to our in-school practices. We really appreciate your help with this as there are only a few weeks left before the program.
We will be participating in school prayer services on Monday morning during Advent. Our students will learn the meaning of Advent as we anticipate Christmas and the birth of Jesus. We will be reviewing the story of Christmas as we practice for our Christmas program.
Thanksgiving dinner tips from kindergartners:
“Pick out a turkey that is not alive anymore.” Maeve H.
“Wipe the feathers off with a napkin.” Sam D.
“Stuffing is smooshy things that make the turkey big.” Annie G.
“It cooks for 30 seconds and 2 hours at 3,003 degrees.” Jack M.
“It is done when there are little burns on it.” Niall M.
“I would say you have to cook the turkey on the grill until the turkey is actually dead.” Mary Grace O.
“Grab a turkey from a farm. It will be the right turkey because the farmer knows all their names and you pick the one named JJ.” Siena O.
IT’S GREAT BEING A KINDERGARTNER AT SFX!
