St. Francis Xavier School is pleased to offer a broad and stimulating curriculum that meets the needs of all our youngest Crusaders. The Early Childhood Program spans 18 months through Kindergarten with a curriculum differentiated by age and ability to best serve the diverse needs of early learners. The St. Francis Xavier Early Childhood Program builds confidence, develops social skills and provides a solid academic foundation to prepare students for a successful transition to elementary school.

The Program provides for the educational, emotional and moral development of students through thoughtful, creative teaching strategies and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. The school’s talented teaching staff strives to create a safe and welcoming learning environment and works in conjunction with parents through open and frequent communication.

The SFX Early Childhood staff makes learning fun through games, music, friendship, activities, outdoor play and creative events.

 

The Moms & Tots Program provides free, drop-in playtime for young toddlers who are accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

 

 

Seedlings meets once a week, inviting children 18 months through 3 years of age to join us in a welcoming preschool setting while a parent or caregiver remain close at hand.

 

 

Turning 3! is ideal for children who are ready to attend preschool but do not meet the September 1st cut-off for traditional preschool programming.

 

 

The Three Year Old Program develops the whole child in a values-based environment through play-based activities.

 

 

The Junior Kindergarten prepares four year olds for Kindergarten with a range of half day and enrichment add-on options.

 

 

Kindergarten introduces students to a structured, academic curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment that emphasizes the development of the whole child.
